Difficulty: Level 7 A mountain ogre has taken the mayor captive, and no one knows what the ogre will do with him. The town needs someone to follow the ogre's trail through the woods and rescue the mayor. Surely the mayor will reward NAME . . . if he/she gets there in time to save him. Using her/his spyglass to scout ahead, NAME saw the ogre sitting outside its den up ahead. It was sharpening an axe, and had the very frightened-looking mayor tied to a wide flat rock. There was no time to lose!

NAME sprinted to the ogre's den. Her/His legs were strong and, though his lungs ached, he made it in the nick of time. Just as the ogre was swinging the axe down on the mayor's neck NAME tackled it to the ground. Stomping on its neck to stun it, NAME gave herself/himself an opening and sliced the ogre in the face. It didn?t get up. The mayor thanked NAME profusely.

NAME sprinted to the ogre's den, but s/he wasn't fast enough. By the time s/he arrived, the mayor's head had been severed from his body. NAME VERBED the ogre, and for that the townsfolk were grateful. The only reward NAME got was the gold the ogre had lying around his den.
